Becca Found Her Place
Becca attends both virtual and in-person classes at Pathways, and her mom says the program has been life-changing. “It is important for me to have a place where she has God, where she is accepted, has community, friends, and meaning in her life.” Becca’s mom shares.
Since attending Pathways, Becca has flourished, growing socially, improving her communication skills, and expanding her vocabulary.
For Becca’s family, the scholarship is essential. “I’m a single mom, and without the scholarship, it would be tight financially. It gives me flexibility in my schedule and makes it possible for Becca to attend,” her mom explains. “100% thank you to the donors – without them, Becca wouldn’t be able to attend Pathways. She would just be sitting at home watching TV all day,” she adds.
This year, more students than ever are attending Pathways, which means the need for scholarships has never been greater.
Pathways doesn’t just impact Becca – it impacts her family too. “It gives me fulfillment knowing she is in good hands with people who share our values. She is safe, loved, and accepted,” her mom says.
