Sahar has truly flourished at Pathways. She has developed greater independence and has embraced the initiative to engage more deeply with the world around her. Her mother, Tahereh, has witnessed this transformation firsthand, noting, “Pathways puts her on the right path to be more active and social. I can see so many positive changes in her now.”
Pathways has also provided vital support and respite care for Tahereh. Knowing that Sahar is in a safe and nurturing environment allows Tahereh to take time for herself, which is invaluable, saying, “Sometimes you need time for yourself. After Sahar’s time at Pathways, I return with renewed energy and motivation.”The growth Sahar and Tahereh have experienced is remarkable. Sahar looks forward to every moment, but without the John Hamby Scholarship Fund, it wouldn’t be possible.
