The lights go up. Back stage the performers exhale. Its time for their big break. Their big moment to show how truly awesome they are. The chance to dance, to battle, to win. As soon as the music starts playing they are on the stage giving it their all. The crowd is cheering, laughing, loving it. After all the votes are counted, your name is called. You take the stage and claim your prize. You won.

Sounds exciting right? That’s what it feels like to compete in the Pathways Adult Learning Center Lip Sync Battle. This event features teams throughout the community giving it their all to become the Lip Sync Battle Champion. Last year’s audience chosen winners were Jennifer Feary and Willow Holder after their performance of “Let It Go” from Frozen. Their performance stole the hearts of the audience and the win. “It was so exciting. I was so pumped. Everyone was clapping and I was so excited and happy,” Jennifer said.

This year’s participants have even more chances to win with the introduction of a new Judges’ Choice Award. This year’s judges include Morgan Phillips Tulsa People City Editor and a few other community guests.

Do you have what it takes? Teams can register online. Grab your friends, pick a song, and start dancing. This year’s competition is going to be a ton of fun and we hope to see you there. Audience members will be able to vote for the “Audience Choice” award if they do not want to compete. Tickets are available online. Burnett Windows and Siding is back as our event sponsor.
