A few weeks ago, Pathways student Emma Kindle had the opportunity to tour our new building for the first time since construction began.

When we asked Emma what she was most excited about, her answer reminded us why this new space matters.

“I’m excited that my friends who use walkers or wheelchairs will be able to get around the building easier and will be able to go everywhere.”

Emma also shared her hopes for what this new chapter will mean for the entire Pathways community.

“I can’t wait until construction is done. I think the classrooms will have more space for everyone, all the students and teachers. I think we’ll stay connected with all of these bigger rooms. I think the new students will be amazing, and perfect, and wonderful. I can’t wait to see all my friends’ reactions.”

With the walls up and the major electrical work complete, our new home is becoming more of a reality every day. Want to experience the excitement through Emma’s eyes? Watch her reaction and take a video tour of the construction progress here!
