Janet Halbert has been a board member at Pathways for 5 years. When she first joined the board she didn’t know very much about Pathways other than it was a school for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her time as a board member has changed her perspective.
“Pathways is about loving, respecting, and serving – by the students, families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and everyone on the board. It’s about making a difference in the lives of everyone involved in Pathways,” says Janet. Janet also volunteers as a mentor, and she has learned about love and finds great rewards in being a part of something impactful.
